Transport in Amsterdam

Amsterdam is a wonderfully walkable city, with most major sites in or near the city centre. Public transport in Amsterdam city center is operated by GVB company which provides integrated metro, tram and bus services. As tickets you will use an Amsterdam transport OV-chipcard loaded with money or timeframe product. For example 24 hours for €7.50 to 168 hours for €34 in 2017. You can buy these from a machine at places like metro stations or shops.

The Amsterdam Arena is in a modern office park in the south-east of Amsterdam, approximately 10 kilometres from the city centre. The stadium is best reached by train or metro. Train station Bijlmer ArenA lies next to the stadium and can be reached in 15 minutes from Amsterdam Central Station. There is very regular service. The metro takes only little longer and stops at the same station as well as station Strandvliet/ArenA that lies on the north side of the stadium. Take metro 54 from Amsterdam Central Station, or any of the stops in Amsterdam city centre.

Transport in Bucharest

The Bucharest subway is ran by Metrorex. The metro system is made up of four lines (M1, M2, M3 and M4) with a total of 53 stations. Taking the subway is usually the best choice in Bucharest, even during rush hours when the capital gets extremely crowded

Alternatively, you can catch trolleybus 86 or 90. Bus 86 stops at the main railway station and runs along Bd. Dacia (north of the centre). Bus 90 passes over Bd. Regina Elisabeta and Bd. Carol I right through the city centre.

Transport in Rome – The Metro in Rome only has three lines that currently cross diagonally across the city and is currently the smallest metro system in Europe. Nevertheless, it reaches the city’s most important landmarks. Rome also has an extensive Bus network with over 300 lines in operation making it easy to get yourself around the city Tickets for both the Metro and Bus can be purchased at the metro stations, at news-stands and in most corner shops. Transport in St. Petersburg – The metro is undoubtedly the best bet for visitors, and covers nearly all of the city, with new stations opening almost every year. It also has some spectacular station architecture. The system is also remarkably efficient. During the day, trains arrive every 2-3 minutes, with slightly longer waiting periods early in the morning and late at night. On average, the stations open at about 5:45am and close between midnight and 0:30am You can transfer from one line to the other until 0:15am. Tickets can be bought from kiosks in all stations.

Saint Petersburg Stadium is located on the western tip of Krestovsky Island in the north-west of St. Petersburg. The stadium lies about 7.5 kilometres away from Palace Square in St. Petersburg’s city centre. The nearest metro station is Krestovsky Ostrov on the purple line 5, which runs right through central St. Petersburg. It is still a 25-minute walk from the station to the stadium through Maritime Victory Park though.
